The date has been set at last and just as I had planned, I depart from the UK at the end of the month 30-06-18 and I fly to Cairo airport. I plan to stay a day or so in Cairo in a cheap hostel if I can find one and then set off past the Pyramids of Giza and then I’ll proceed down the Nile to Luxor.
I haven;t done much research so I don;t really know what to expect from Egypt. I have never been before. I hear it’s going to be hot. How hot? Some say 40 degrees.
Oh and I have had a lovely surprise, my good friend Tistan will be accompanying me for the first week or so as we ride from Cairo to Luxor, yeeeeahhhhh cant wait! Love you Tristo!!

I suppose you could say that my love for adventure and thirst to discover the unknown far exceeds any apprehensions and potential worries of hardship that i may encounter in the forthcoming weeks and months. A new challenge… Here I am again and my taste for adventure has gotten the better of me once more.
